To continue the previous post where I was experimented with a friend where we were trying out the sister product (read all about it here), today I'll be reviewing the Red Ginseng.
Etude House claims that this mask active ingredient which is Red Ginseng can increase skin elasticity i.e. can increase skin's resilience. Well, it won't give you instant result but prolonged use can help you to see faster result. But I would prefer to see slow but progressing result rather than instant or quick result cause when you stop using the product, our skin will turn to worse condition. Be it breakouts, pigmentation and etc.
Wash-off masks like these are meant to use everyday anyway cause it doesn't contain exfoliating beads. Exfoliating your skin is very important as we need to increase the sebum control especially for those who have oily-normal skin like me.
Unlike the Ginseng, Red Ginseng pack doesn't has exfoliating beads. So I just applied in on my face and leave it on like 20 minutes. I just used half of the pack and stored the other half for next usage.
Scent:
I think I would prefer this scent cause it leans towards citrusy compared to strong herb scent in Ginseng pack but the scent did linger for more than 5 minutes and that makes me get onto the next skin care routine as I want to get rid of the scent quickly.
Texture:
As for the texture, it's about same with the Ginseng pack and this one too, took me a long time to wash it off my face. Preferably use running water.
After using it on my skin, I feel so refreshed, instant brightening effect though it doesn't last long which probably means it sloughs off my dead skin cells, it doesn't leave my skin tight instead my skin feels soft and supple. Simply put, it's great.
Final verdict: 5/5. Definitely repurchased
Okay, that's all. I'll be updating on Angelica Extract on the next review. Annyeong~
