As I have been busy with design projects and other assignments therefore I'm so grateful that I can shop online plus the local shipping is quite affordable. But let me be honest with you, only half of the stuffs shown here were purchased online while the other half were purchased in-store as I just happened to pass by one while picking up some groceries for the weekend at studio.
So I placed my order on Monday morning and everything arrived just now! Well, it was supposed to be Next-Day Delivery but they do stated in their official website that it's gonna be a bit late as they're having a lot of orders during sale but 3 days is still super awesome!
Love the greetings and only then I noticed their Facebook and Twitter page.
They put in shredded papers to secure my orders, nice!

I didn't buy so much online as I actually have re-stocked my essentials from the brand last August so I just grabbed some travel-sized items as I kind of living in the studio these days.
Now, let's get right into it.
First, it's the Soft Facial Cleansing Sponge. How I use this? After massaging my face with a makeup remover like a cleansing cream, I will dampen the sponge and wipe away all those melted cream and residues off my face and rinse it and repeat until I'm satisfied before following up with a water-based cleanser like a cleansing foam. Don't worry about the moon-craters-like surface of the sponge as it's actually quite gentle to your skin. Save money too as I no longer need to use like 5 sheets of facial tissue just to remove the cleansing cream. Make sure to wash it properly with a shower cream and dry well.
Next, it's the Facial Buffer. I usually use this with my Etude House Wonder Pore Clay Clear mask as after the mask dried out, it can be a difficult task to wash it off. Therefore. I use this to remove the hardened clay mask by dampen the sponge with lukewarm water and gently wipe out my skin.
I was just introduced to this Deep Cleansing Face Mask Enhancer quite recently and was excited to try it on! This comes in a small white pouch, and you can easily fold this mask enhancer back into it and travel with it. This is great especially when I'm using wash-off masks. Follow these steps for optimum results:-
- Rinse the cloth in hot (hot enough for your hands to endure) and wring out the excess water.
- Place the chenille side of the cloth down on your towel-dried, cleansed face for about 2 to 3 minutes to open your pores. This will help the goodness of the masks to be absorbed by the skin better. Take off the cloth.
- Apply your favourite mask i.e. treatment wash-off masks and as for right now, my favourite would be TheFaceShop Real Nature Apple Flesh Mask and Etude House I Need You Yogurt and Honey Wash-Off Masks. Not the clay-mask masks, okay!
- Rinse the cloth again in hot and wring out the excess water. Place it back onto your face, chenille side against your skin, and leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes or as suggested on mask packaging.
- When the time's up, turn the cloth over, and use the towelling side to wipe off the mask. Rinse with water and proceed with toning and the rest of your skincare routine.
- To make this cloth last longer, it's recommended to hand wash it after each use.
Now, let's go over the items I bought at the store.
Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub, Sakura Puree Body Lotion and Vanilla Bath & Shower Gel are indeed my all-time favourite. I did mentioned that I'm a sucker for anything Sakura, right? Oh, plus Vanilla. Well, honey too. Hence the blog name. I got these three during a quick visit to The Body Shop store in Suria KLCC last Tuesday.
Last item is this Extra Virgin Minerals Powder Foundation Brush. To be perfectly honest, I'm not really into makeup. After skin care, I usually use my sunscreen, The Face Shop Natural Sun Absolute Quality Super White Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++ to finish off my skincare. When I need a little bit extra, I use The Face Shop Aura Colour Control Cream SPF30 for a little bit of glow on my skin or The Face Shop Power Perfection BB cream samples for a bit of coverage and finish off with Mary Kay Mineral Loose Powder. So far, I never tried any liquid foundation and I always use the puff provided for the CC Cream but I'm definitely lacking a brush for powder application and right now I only have a foundation brush is from Mary Kay but it's quite worn out already. So I do hope that this can be a good replacement.
I guess that's about it. How about you guys? Do you have recommendation for cleansing tools? Clarisonic Cleansing brushes are so hot right now, I know but I'm just a student. Architecture Student at that who needs at least 100 bucks per design project, so I gotta stick to small budget over here. I heard Olay Pro X Advanced Cleansing System is pretty affordable which is why I'm on waiting list on my favourite drugstore which is Watsons cause apparently, all girls in Malaysia want it!
What's your favourite body scrub? Mine are all from The Body Shop. Do tell by leaving comments down below.
Until next post, annyeong~
