Annyeonghaseyo, lovelies! How's your weekend so far? Ah~ for me it's all about relaxing and of course, making some amendments for my design and of course studying for exam next week.
Anyway, today I'm going to review a product from Nature Republic, UV Lock Flower Waterproof Sun Cream with SPF50% PA+++.
Sun care is the most important thing after skin care products. It's important to protect your skin no matter where you go during the day time. Even if it's cloudy or you're just sitting in your room with bright sun rays coming in through the windows.
Product Description:
A sunscreen that provides broad spectrum protection protects against UV-B rays as well as UV-A. All sunscreens protect against UV-A rays which cause sunburn however not all protect again UV-B which causes premature ageing of the skin.
Waterproof sunscreen to keep you beautiful and confident, regardless of sweat or water.
Packaging:
As you can see above, the product comes in this pretty white box with floral motive on it. I really like the colours on it. it's like saying it's so pretty outside, so go out and have fun! hehe
There's product description at the back of the box and the ingredients list as well. It seems that the preservative used in this product is parabens.
Sitting on top of the list is Cyclopentasiloxane, commonly found in skin care products, sun care, deodorants and hair supplies.
There's also Titanium Dioxide, known for its sun screen properties.
Here's the tube the product comes in. It's in soft blue colour with the same floral motive as in the box. Now that I think of it, it's the same shape of my TheFaceShop Sun cream.
There's the expiration date. It's December this year. Ah, I better finish this quickly.
That's how the product looks like. it's white cream and after I applied it on my skin, it just spread rather nicely. The floral scent is nice and the texture is smooth and soft on my skin.
Verdict:
Overall, I like this sun cream. Unlike my TheFaceShop sun cream, it doesn't give me white cast that usually visible when I'm out in the sun.
I use sun screen whenever I feel like not going out just staying in my room or just want to go out without make-up. I did break out once or twice after using this product but that probably because I thought using cleansing foam is enough to wash away impurities as I only use this sun cream all day. But then, after I consulted with a BA, it's better to use cleansing oil for this product as it's waterproof or even better, use a sun screen cleanser. I decided to use cleansing oil and after that, no more break out.
Final verdict: 5/5. I love this sun cream. It protects my skin well.
I actually bought this at Buy 1 Free 1 promotion at Nature Republic store in Berjaya Times Square. I gave one to my mom.
Okay, that's all for this review. Do tell your thoughts on this product. Have you tried it before? by the way, do share your favourite sun screen, okay! Would love to try other sun screen as well.
I'll see you guys next post!
