Review: Nature Republic Garden Recipe Strawberry Cleansing Foam

Wednesday 19 November 2014
Annyeong, lovelies! How's your week so far? As we're getting near and near to the end of semester, we got a lot of assignments to be submitted and whatnot.. sigh

Hence, today it's gonna be a simple review on this facial cleanser that I've been using for about 2 months now, which is Garden Recipe Strawberry Cleansing Foam from Nature Republic.

#StrawberryChronicle

the hashtag is just one of the thing I called whenever I review another product based on Strawberry. ^__^
Product Description:
This Strawberry cleansing foam makes the skin clean and bright.

How to use:
Dispense an appropriate amount onto your palm, fully leather, and massage face with the lather in detail, and wash off with lukewarm water.

120ml

Packaging:

As you can see in the above photo, the cleanser comes in that pale yellow colour with strawberry illustration on it.

There's product description at the back of the tube,in Korean, English and Japanese!

The expiring date printed at the top of the tube.

Note that opening of the tube isn't as big as your regular cleanser, its quite small as indeed, you don't really need a lot of the product for one time use. Quite good for controlling the amount of product being squeezed out of the tube.

Verdict:

The product is in that creamy paste, and if you see closely, there're beads in the cleansing foam, which can help with mild exfoliating, claimed to give that brightening effect.

After lathering the product, the foam formed is quite thick actually, so if you have oily-combo skin like me, just squeeze out a peanut-sized paste and that's enough to clean the whole face area (provided that you remove your makeup first!) and neck area as well.

This cleansing foam indeed gave me some brightening effect that it promised but of course, I don't see the result lasts long.

I do like the beads in the paste. Reminds me of my previous cleansing foam from TheFaceShop.

Final Verdict: 4/5.  I do love it but there are some reason that contribute to the minus point. One, it's already DISCONTINUED! I do notice that Nature Republic tends to either repackage or just discontinue certain products. Two, the price is kinda expensive for a mid-brand facial cleanser, which is RM36.90 for only 120ml.

To be honest, last April was indeed the last time I was in Nature Republic Malaysian store, which is in Berjaya Times Square, KL and that was when before it turned into Flagship Store. So I didn't really know what's the replacement cleansing line for this one.

So that's it! Let me know if you ever tried this cleanser and tell me what do you think!

Until next post, bye bye!
