Review: Nature Republic Garden Recipe Kohlrabi Cleansing Foam

Saturday, 29 November 2014
Annyeong, lovelies! wah~ few more weeks before final exams going to start and I'm so nervous with all the things going on recently.. hmm~

Today is gonna be a simple review on this product, Garden Recipe Kohlrabi Cleansing Foam from Nature Republic. I reviewed its sister product here so if you like strawberry-based product, make sure to check it out!

Honestly, I never heard of Kohlrabi before.... have you?

From what I read, kohlrabi are widely used as replacement of kale in any regular salad bowl... huh.

Anyway, let's move on to basic info on the product!

Product Description:
Kohlrabi cleansing foam makes the skin clean and bright.

How to use:
Dispense an appropriate amount onto your palm, fully leather, and massage face with the lather in detail, and wash off with lukewarm water.

120ml

Packaging:

Like the other sister products, the brand used illustration of the main ingredient on the tube.

Well, you guys wanna see real kohlrabi?

maybe there are others in purple? Like yam? hikhik

there's the ingredient list. Here's the cosDNA result to see full details on the ingredients.

Although, I'm quite intrigued with the presence of Lauric Acid in the product, which I heard is good in helping people with acne.

This product is gonna be expired within 6 months so yeah, I definitely need to use this up ASAP.

Again, I still think that the opening is quite to dispense the product.
Oh, the product is sealed before opened. Do check when you 're buying this! :)

Verdict:

The product is like medium thick in that white pearl-ish colour. After lathering it up, the foam formed isn't really thick, though this one has no beads so I guess this one just really focusing on cleansing your skin.

After using the product, I feel my skin really soft and I do like that this cleansing foam doesn't strip my skin natural oil.

As the product contains fragrance, the scent is actually quite nice but if you don't like scented products, you might wanna skip this one though.

Overall, I like this product as it works fine with me. I didn't break out because of this product so all is good.

Final Verdict: 4/5. It's a nice cleansing foam but it's already DISCONTINUED! The price is kinda expensive for a mid-brand facial cleanser, which is RM36.90 for only 120ml which I usually used up within 1 to 2 months.

So that's all about it! Lt me know what do you think! :)

Until next post, annyeong!
