Hello, lovely people! How's you weekend so far? For me weekend means catching up with sleep and house chores. Especially laundry. Well, specifically laundry. It's been more than 2 months since I started working but I still can't adjust my routine that well. Any tips, though?
Anyway, today I'm gonna do a quick post on my Beauty Empties for the past 3 months so let's get right into it!
I admit that I used that Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter for more than a year but not on my body but on my hands and feet only. I felt so dried on these areas especially for the past few months and felt the need to apply more. Probably because I've spent the entire day in the office and as we're on no-shoes-in-the-office policy, my feet are exposed to the coldness of air-conditioner more than usual. This is nice and the scent is indeed to my liking very much so I definitely gonna repurchase this in near future.
Sadly, I finished my favourite EDT, Fleur de Cerisier from Solinotes Paris. I've been using it for almost everyday and sometimes I layered it with The Body Shop White Musk to elongates the scent. Definitely gonna repurchase in the future!
That Shokubutsu Sakura Whitening Shower Cream is indeed nice and smelled heavenly to me but quite honestly, it's not enough refreshing for me even in the morning. Maybe during weekends but this isn't an after-work shower gel or cream for me.
I bought my first Laneige BB Cushion Whitening back in 2014 and I grabbed this BB Cushion Pore Control in No. 31 Brown Beige early last year and I finished my first refill last month so I guess it's a little over a year~ I haven't properly review this product but to sum it up, this is probably the best cushion foundation for sebum control I ever tried and I tried plenty of cushion foundations I tell you. It's semi matte, lasts all day, doesn't break me out, soothing, buildable coverage without being 'cakey' and most importantly, the shade! The shade complements my NC40 skin really well and unlike the Whitening version, it doesn't oxidize on me. Truly love the formulation and I'm on refill #2 as of last month.
To Innisfree fans, No Sebum Mineral Powder is definitely a bestseller. It sets, your foundation or cushion foundation, can be used on top of sunscreen, and all it does really is just to make your skin looks shine-free which is my ultimate goal. This is the first tub I finished and I definitely will be repurchasing it over and over again.
I finished another mini Green Tea Mineral Mist from Innisfree as I feel my skin really dry the past few months. I'm loving this simple formulation, quite affordable, and I'll be repurchasing this again soon as my third bottle is almost out. Probably should grab the big size later.
On the right, the Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam and Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam both from Innisfree, a brand that slowly growing on me since last year. These are in fact my first cleansers from the brand and I gotta say that I'm loving these! Really love the clean feeling, don't get me wrong, not the squeaky clean feeling, but it's more like when you feel like you pores are being thoroughly cleansed kinda way. I used the Scrub Foam in the evening and the regular one usually in the morning. Both are great cleansers for pore care and I definitely will be repurchasing both of them.
So that's all from me! I'm working hard to keep on sticking on my beauty routine so hopely I can see you guys in an Empties post in another 3 months.
Until then, annyeong~
