Packaging:

The packaging shows continuity from other sister products from the Chia Seed Sebum Control skincare line whereas the theme colour used is soft green and brown. Totally gives off that fresh feeling.

If you must know, the whole line is being repackaged and while the new ones have English labelling, these old ones are labelled in Korean. The label says 'Chia Seed Sebum Control Moisture Cream'.

On one of the side of the box though, there's English product description and ingredients list.

At the bottom of the box, there's manufacturing information. Looking at the distribution sticker, I gotta tell you that I got this product (I bought 2 tubs actually as they were on bundle promo) from local TheFaceShop store here in Kuala Lumpur particularly Sunway Pyramid store.

As for tub, it's a transparent tub with a green cap. There's the expiring date printed at the bottom of the tub.

It's really to see that this moisturiser comes with a lid as it can prevent from spilling during travel or basically just for hygiene reason. Ah~ just look at the heart shaped piece for you to take out the lid.

Verdict:

The moisturiser is in that almost clear gel form. It makes me thinking how those ingredients listed above can turned into that form.

When it comes to texture, it's definitely not sticky or anything. It's quite light and absorbed into my skin less than few minutes. I really love the finishing as it leaves me with shine-free looking skin and it's just perfect for me to proceed with my makeup. Though I still put on a sebum-controlling primer on top of this to really make sure my foundation lasts long, for days I'm going with coverage-free i.e. finish off my skincare with a sunscreen, it's definitely enough for my T-zone not looking like a cooking pan midday.

Overall, it's really good for my current 3-step morning skincare routine but of course, even if I seal all the essences or serums with this moisturiser as a final step in my night routine, it still works okay as I don't see myself breaking out or feeling as if the moisturiser just sitting on top of my skin.

Final verdict: 5/5. It works with my normal-oily combo skin, my skin still feel hydrated with the sebum controlling property, I love the fresh scent, it's quite hygienic as it comes with lid separator and a spatula which is missing in action right now (probably at my mum's house and I'm using my Laneige Water Sleeping Pack spatula instead). Definitely will be repurchasing this again.

This is retailed at RM120+ inclusive GST at local TheFaceShop here in Malaysia but I got this at bundle price at that time and I got 2 with a price of one. Awesome, right?

I actually first tried this as a sample from my beauty purchases at the store. These are what's left of it. I brought these during travel a lot so I don't have to bring the tub with me but thank goodness as I bought the travel kit and this moisturiser comes in a 10ml small tub and I'd definitely will bringing that for travel in the future as I'm about to finish the sample sachets.
