Review | THE FACE SHOP Goat Milk MasCream Sheet

Sunday 4 September 2016

It's been real busy for the past few weeks at work and I guess I'll be continuing my simple night routine for another 2 weeks before going through the evaluation for my confirmation at the company early next month so in this 5th out of 6 series of this MasCream Sheet line from THE FACE SHOP, I'll be reviewing my favourite variant so far which is Goat Milk.

Product Description:

This milky white hydrating cream formulated with New Zealand goat milk gently penetrates skin to moisturise and nourish is without giving a sticky residue.

How to Use: Unfold the mask and carefully place masks on your freshly cleansed face. Avoid the eye and mouth contours. Remove after 10-20 minutes and tap gently on skin until the cream is completely absorbed.

Packaging:

Unlike the other 4 variants from the same sheet mask line, this and the Snail Mucus variant came in metallic coloured design and for Goat Milk, it's brownish colour.

There's the English product description at the lower part at the back side of the packaging. There's also the Distributor Sticker as I bought this from a local THE FACE SHOP store here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

The sheet is the same microfibre sheet that hold the essence so well while it being absorbed into my skin. The size just fits my face and the holes aren't that far off.

The essence or if you prefer, cream for this mask isn't as thick as other variants, it's slightly lighter and the scent is a little bit different as well. There seems like a lump of milk there so I just mixed it well before applying it all over the sheet (this is the excess from the packaging) and massage whatever's left on my neck area.

Verdict:

According to the Internet, Goat's milk contains precious skin minerals like selenium and is loaded with vitamins, particularly vitamin A, the most important vitamin for the skin. As with other milks, goat's milk contains lactic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and it assists to gently slough off dead skin cells and helps to hydrate and brighten the skin.

I like this variant the most as not only it makes my skin feels moisturised and nourished, I felt the softness or plumpness till the next day. My makeup stayed on really well as well. I guess this is what the Korean says "the makeup is well-eaten" when your skin is moisturised and the makeup adhered onto your skin and doesn't cake or fade.

Final verdict: 4.5/5. This is retailed at RM15.70 at the store and yes, it's quite expensive for a one-time use of sheet mask hence minus half point. Therefore, I'd like to recommend for you to grab this during sale. :D I hardly bought anything at Retail Price anyway.

Let me know if you've tried any of the variant from this sheet mask line or anything similar by leaving comments down below.

Until next post, annyeong~
