Beauty Empties 12.0 | March

Friday, 31 March 2017
It's the end of the month so I guess it's time for a Empties post. I gotta admit that every time I went through my Empties bin, I felt good. I used to throw out beauty products unfinished but I've been looking forward to this post at the end of every quarter of the year. So without further ado, let's get started!

For makeup remover, I ran out of my favourite cleansing water which is the THE FACE SHOP Rice Water Bright Cleansing Water. This is probably my third bottle but I don't even know why I haven't done a review on this yet. Coming soon, I promise!

That Etude House Milky You Cleansing Foam is so gentle and I've been using it almost every morning. It's great but I'd love trying out new cleansers so I won't be buying this any time soon.

I finished my ninth round of Korean skincare and this time it's the simple 3-step Chia Seed Sebum Control line from THE FACE SHOP. I finished the Fresh Cleansing Foam I think in mid February and been using the travel size for it ever since. It's a good simple cleanser that doesn't irritate or dry out my skin or anything so I probably will be repurchasing in the future. Here's the review

Along with that I also finished the toner i.e. Moisture Water. It's a huge 300ml bottle with a push-down cap which I adore and I finished it within 8 months I think. When it comes to sebum-controlling toner, I think I'd prefer this over Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner as this still give me some moisture while balancing my normal to oily skin. I've reviewed it here. I finished the Moisture Cream few days ago and currently on tub number 2. I do like the gel texture and it absorbed into my skin rather quickly. After finishing this one, I do noticed that my skin is not as oily as before and I probably gonna repurchase the repackaged version in the future. here's the review.

Beauty Community | #MYABFoolsGiftExchange2017

Sunday, 26 March 2017
I'm back with another update on what's going on on my Instagram recently! I finally received my gift from my secret gifter. I can't wait to open this on 1st of April; yes! that's the rule. LOL

I'm letting you guys know that currently I'm joining a skincare community for Asian Beauty (mostly K-beauty though) here in Malaysia. It's free and interactions are mainly happening on Instagram through liking photos, leaving comments and of course we DM each other as well. it's a lot of fun talking to other K-beauty enthusiasts especially now that I'm currently based here in KK, Sabah. Nothing much going on when it comes to beauty here.

Still, stay tuned for more updates or you can check out my feed! My Instagram handle is @myraprettylittlethings. Until next time, annyeong~

Skincare Diary | Morning Routine

Wednesday, 15 March 2017
I think I'm on a skincare diet these days as I've been using less than 10 skincare products in a single routine. Anyway, let's get on it!

Current morning cleanser, LANEIGE Brightening Sparkling Water Whipping Cleanser. As this contains AHA mixture of orange, lemon, bilberry, sugar cane and sugar maple, it's imperative to put on a strong physical sunscreen for the rest of the day.

Skincare Diary | Night Routine

Sunday, 12 March 2017
I have been thinking to go back to my original intention of starting this blog i.e. to document my beauty journey so I came up with this "skincare diary" section where I'll be writing down my skincare routine of the day or night. It's like #OOTD whereas this will be #SCROTD? That's awkward. Let's just do #skincareroutineoftheday. Huh?

Anyway, let's get onto the tonight's routine.

For pre-cleanser, I'm still loving that Banila Co. Clean It Zero; a cleansing balm to remove my makeup. The scent is nice and it does remove all my makeup though it sometimes stings my eyes. T__T Onto the second cleanser, I just finished my THE FACE SHOP Chia Seed Fresh Cleansing Foam and currently using the travel-sized sister. Then, I use Son&Park Beauty Water as my last step. I've been loving it as it helps in getting  rid of my dead skin cells effectively thanks to its Willow Bark Extract and Papaya Fruit Water. I'm about to finish the 500ml jumbo bottle and will repurchase soon.

Beauty Haul | Althea Box No. 13 Vitamin

Wednesday, 1 March 2017
If you're familiar with Althea Korea then you would know that they have curated themed Beauty Boxes which usually sold out within short period as a single box usually contains 5 to 7 full-sized beauty products and some with deluxe samples with a price of RM100 to RM130. So when they launched a Vitamin-themed Beauty Box, it took me merely seconds putting an order for it.

Basically, there are 7 full-sized products included in this Beauty Box and just look at all of the products! So yellow, orange and bright! There are facial cleanser, mask, skincare booster, moisturiser, facial mist, lip mask and a body cleanser that are rich in vitamins.
